Angela Barnfather has had a long and successful career in the field of education, having worked most of her life in the borough of Ealing in West London. There she held a variety of posts as a primary school teacher as well as serving as a deputy head and part of the senior management team at her school. She was also responsible for the mentoring of both new and returning teachers to the borough.

For many years Angela has had an interest in prison reform and has run courses on rehabilitation for prisoners, volunteers and the general public. Angela is now retired but is still actively involved in her local area.

 

Steven Carr pursued a career in public sector financial management until his retirement in 2016. This mostly involved working for the NHS, particularly within mental health and community services. His final post was working for a mental health trust, with responsibility for costing and income. He has been assisting Allan with corporate and financial matters for The Silence Project.

Steven lives in Ealing and is active in the local area. He enjoys country walking, theatre and tending his allotment.

Angus McGuire is currently the in-house lawyer and company secretary of Edinburgh Business School (Heriot-Watt University) and the in-house lawyer at Tripsology Limited, a Glasgow based social media startup. Until joining Edinburgh Business School in 2017, he spent the majority of his legal career as a commercial lawyer in private practice with a particular interest in growing SMEs and early stage investment. He has a keen interest in music and is a director of Red Note Music Ensemble, a contemporary music ensemble.
